Crime-thriller writer Tom Clancy passed away in 2013, but his eye for detail, especially in his espionage-related thrillers, captivated the minds of book lovers for decades. Few people know that Tom Clancy used to work in an insurance company owned by his wife’s grandparents. Later, he bought it from them and wrote his novels on the side.
