Diane Kruger, whom we all know as Helen from 2004 war film Troy, started off as a professional model, but she soon switched to acting. The German-born American actress has worked as a model for top brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Jil Sander, and the likes. Kruger tied the knot with French actor Guillaume Canet, but the coupled filed for divorce in 2001 over irreconcilable differences. She has recently purchased an eco-conscious loft in Lower Manhattan area for $4.2 million and reportedly has installed solar panels and eco-friendly heating and cooling systems in her new pad.
