TOM BROKAW AND MEREDITH AULD – 57 YEARS
This inspirational couple has been together for practically a lifetime, having seen over five decades together as a married couple. They wed in 1962 and have seen many ups and downs since then.
When Brokaw was diagnosed with cancer, his wife’s supported deepened his love for her to the point that he was in awe! Auld has long been a support system for Brokaw, even back before he was on TV when he had no direction in his career.
She is also a woman of achievements – she authored a cookbook and once owned a toy store. Ven their kids describe their attraction in detail; and the bond between them as ‘indestructible’. Now that speaks volumes!
